Deep Lunar Blue is an American rock band based in Springfield, Illinois, U.S.A.
DLB plays great original songs, and a wide range of rock and classic rock covers spanning from the 60's to the present including songs by Grateful Dead, Neal Young, Pink Floyd,
The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Van Morrison, Johnny Cash, Chicago, Steely Dan, Bob Marley, Talking Heads,
Phish, Widespread Panic, Tom Petty, Wilco, Foster the People, and Jack White.

Established in January 2009, Deep Lunar Blue quickly developed a unique sound blending many varied styles and genres including rock, classic rock, bluegrass, alt-country, psychedelic, traditional and jam band music while playing throughout Springfield and surrounding Central Illinois towns and festivals. Over the course of our first two years DLB played over 70 shows and released an album in February 2010 titled "Watch it Burn" (Deep Lunar Blue Records).
We've played 187 shows to date and it's full steam ahead.
